The butyl tape is commonly known as foil tape which is made of butyl . This tape consists of butyl rubber that is self-vulcanizing, smudge-free and completely airtight with good adhesion strength in joints. It forms an instant seal in joints against water, air or dust and remains permanently soft. They are ideal for filling gaps and tight joints such as those on screw ducts and circular ducts in HVAC systems, air conditioning enclosures, roof and cladding systems, caravan roofs and panels, windscreens and taillights, glass and metal.
